HK22 vs the old SuperFlex that was on almost every C300 ball at the time please.

Seems to me that layouts have much less of an impact than surface prep which is something bowlers have the ability to change while bowling to fit what they want.

Could you maybe do a video on what’s the difference between sanding your ball and not clean it after vs sanding your ball and then cleaning it?

Didn't really look good polished. Didn't want to get up to the pocket at all. That's a good way to ruin a ball made to hook, although i know you were experimenting with it.

I don't know who your camera guy is but next time maybe show your full approach not just releasing the ball at the foul line please

Coming out of the box it's supposed to be 500 2000. I strongly suggest that you guys redo the video at 2000 surface. This is not a true review from you guys saying it's a thousand

I have thrown the 13 pound Tidlewave when I was 13 I guess. Not a 300 with that one thow. That had to wait another 5 Years. Ever thown the Hammer Big Blue particle? That was my 300 Ball.

I don't know if I missed it or not, but where was the detail in why the layout was different with moving the center of gravity? Surface adjustments I understand, nerves with shooting 300s I definitely get (I shot my first 300 the year Dustin was born!!), but what was the rationale behind moving the center of gravity?

Semtex is an underrated coverstock, even without HK-22. It's great for riding the shim.

I really REALLY like this format with the ball changes. I'm still trying to figure out the best surface for my Perfect Mindset. I've tried a few so far, but not getting the same look when it was at the original 3k. I used the TruCut 3k pad and TruCut Conditioner to get it back to 3k (haven't had a chance to try it yet). I have been trying to get it to hook. Tried 2k without conditioner, then went the other direction with 3k and 5000D, then tried 2k and 3k together. No luck yet. Just straight-shooting. Any thoughts (aside that I can't hook the ball because I'm just that bad at bowling. Lol)?

Has anyone ever thought of the wear and tear on the thumb joint from twisting all the time ?

Enjoyed the brutal enough to drill a 2nd. Had a lot of house shot forgiveness just like Ron was mentioning. Didn’t enjoy the violent quite as much.

Have had several DV8 balls. The Vandal series was total 🔥. Also loved the Turmoil 2 (solid and pearl) and the Nightmare series. The Pitbull, however, was horrible for me.

DV8 is my brand of choice 💯

I've never had an issue with regular thumb holes but it's because I started bowling long before there were other options. I agree, I would not purchase a modern performance bowling ball without an interchangeable thumb system. Beats the hello out of carrying three or four different types of tape, skin patch, and steel wool, like we used to do back in the days of hard rubber, polyester, and old school urethane.

Trying to decide between the Wicked and the Ultimate Defender. This would be my first DV8 ball ever.

I have the Verge Hybrid(1st one) It is speed sensitive. The faster or harder I throw it, the better she responds which is my wheel house.

I have the brutal collision, violent collision and the hater. I am planning on drilling one of the wicked collisions as well

I have the Violent. Will grab this for the step up. It has the same cohesion additive like the Effect. So shiny doesn’t really hurt it cause it still sees the lane early enough.
